Love in the fast lane
Q. As a same-sex couple, we're planning a joint stag celebration and gathering all of our friends together. What activity can you suggest?
A. JDR Karting says: We offer one of Gloucestershire's most exciting visitor attractions - a great venue for hen and stag parties, family fun, birthday parties, team-building events, office parties and other celebrations. Visitors can enjoy karting, laser tag, segways and axe throwing. Our most popular option for stag and hen gatherings is an organised race event on the go-karts priced at £50 per person. An adrenaline-fuelled activity choice is axe throwing priced at £20 per person. Why not combine karting, axe throwing and food? A package is offered for a three or four-hour session with a pizza buffet for £70 per person.

Adrenalin-pumping fun
Q. We want a fun idea for a hen and stag activity, what do you suggest?
A. Jayne Cooper says: There's nothing like a bit of adrenalin-pumping fun to get everyone revved up! A karting Grand Prix is an ideal way for groups of friends and family to experience some thrilling action-packed adventure with plenty of track time. The attitude of the staff help to make Drive-Tech the best karting experience with plenty of time spent in the carts and a racing format keeping it competitive throughout.
Party in the fast lane during the day and then head into town and turn it up a notch for the evening! There's no shortage of nightlife ideas and places to stay close by to the track.

Back on track
Q. We want to host a joint hen and stag day that's fun for our adventure-loving friends – what can you suggest?
A. Dan Jones says: Bookings for stag and hen driving experiences have doubled recently (compared to when the country emerged from the first lockdown) as lovers head back to the track. Why not consider an extreme driving package with a supercar experience and get behind the wheel of a Ferrari, Lamborghini or McLaren? The Double Supercar Blast for two is one of the most popular experiences for stags and hens, as couples look to spend their last moments of single life not apart, but together.
The Extreme Dodgems package and the Group Kart Grand Prix packages are both proving hugely popular. There's also rallying, drifting, off-roading and much more to suit all age groups.
As everyday life is returning to normal, including the resumption of weddings, stags and hens are, once again, choosing fun ways to party before the big day and often this is together as a group.
