Welcome to the White Horse Country Park. The White Horse Country Park is on the outskirts of Westbury alongside the A350. The club house is situated within 247 acres of parkland, which is overlooked by the Westbury White Horse. Within the beautiful setting of the country park, the club house offers excellent facilities for weddings, conferences and functions with catering for up to 250 persons (not seated). Warner Leisure Hotels, which operates 14 adult-only hotels and resorts across the UK including in Wiltshire, has pioneered the Mamamoon getaway to give hard-working mums a break after the wedding when the happy couple jet off on their honeymoon. The wind-down packages have been announced in response to over a third of mothers-of-the-bride reporting that they need a relaxing holiday after the wedding. The Mamamoon breaks include spa access, gin and wine tasting and complimentary breakfast and dinner, as well as stress-busting activities such as yoga and archery. Simon Thompson, managing director of Warner Leisure Hotels, said, "We wanted to recognise their heroic efforts – being a shoulder to cry on when dates are rearranged, organising table plans with military precision and being the voice of wisdom in the wedding dress shop. The newly renovated Ivy Lodge Clubhouse at Cirencester Park Polo Club has become a roaring success and immensely popular amongst the polo crowd as well as many locals so the restaurant has decided to stay open after polo season to welcome both its regulars as well as those who have yet to experience the exquisite food served by head chef Ethan Rodgers, a locally renowned culinary expert. Green King Inns, with properties across the UK including in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Gloucestershire has revealed that intimate ceremonies are extremely popular following the pandemic. These smaller wedding sizes are causing a shift from couples choosing traditional venues, as 27 per cent of people would now consider tying the knot in their local pub and more than half (53 per cent) would contemplate having a micro wedding.
