Taking over from Sue Williams, managing director of Whatley Manor in Wiltshire, Mark Chambers will work closely with the senior leadership team of Pride of Britain Hotels and oversee the Board members, made up of leading hoteliers. Pride of Britain Hotels currently has a number of hotels dotted around the British Isles including in Bovey Castle in Devon and Hartwell House in Buckinghamshire.

The four-star hotel, located on the banks of the River Thames, has transformed its outdoor dining pods to create a magical and romantic setting for the occasion. Staffed with a dedicated server and events expert throughout the evening, the heated, cosy pods have been decked out with candles, fairylights, flowers and Bluetooth speakers, allowing diners to create the perfect ambience with their favourite songs.
