Authentic Sri Lankan restaurant group The Coconut Tree shares Christmas menu
This December, authentic Sri Lankan restaurant group The Coconut Tree...
Sophie Casey is a professional make-up artist and hair stylist specialising in weddings. Her career has seen her work in fashion, film and television including on Downton Abbey. We caught up with her to ask what's trending in the world of bridal hair.
She tells us, "I'm seeing a shift from boho-chic ooks to simpler yet textured styles. The tousled ponytail is trending at the moment and is simple to create with the volume on top and a soft curl or wave throughout. It looks great pinned into a low, seamless ponytail with loosely curled strands left at the front to frame the face. This style looks effortless finished with a wire hair accessory worn at the side and a veil can also be added."
Sophie continues, "The low bun is another simple yet elegant option. The hair is lightly curled throughout to give it some texture. It's then delicately pinned at the nape of the neck into a twisted bun with strands left around the face to soften the look. Add a stylish hair comb for the finishing touch."
