Obviously you want to look your best and feel wonderful on your wedding day. To achieve this you need not only to plan, but also to act, ideally at least six months in advance of your big day.
Beauty treatments and fitness should commence as soon as you can. The range of treatments are huge including waxing, facial, teeth whitening and manicure, to name but a few. Timing is especially important when it comes to hair and makeup, and to ensure you look your best on your wedding day, consider a trial well in advance.
There are a whole range of experts to help you including fitness training and hair and beauty specialists. It is unlikely you will be able to cover everything yourself so consult a professional. Whatever you do, don't leave everything until the last minute.
Here’s some great ideas from hair, beauty and fitness businesses based in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire from places like Swindon, Salisbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Chippenham, whom you might want to get in touch with...

We caught up with her to ask what's trending in the world of bridal hair. She tells us, "I'm seeing a shift from boho-chic ooks to simpler yet textured styles. The tousled ponytail is trending at the moment and is simple to create with the volume on top and a soft curl or wave throughout. It looks great pinned into a low, seamless ponytail with loosely curled strands left at the front to frame the face. This style looks effortless finished with a wire hair accessory worn at the side and a veil can also be added."... read more

Emily David is a bridal make-up specialist and hair stylist based in Melksham, Wiltshire. We catch up with her about upcoming summer trends for bridal make-up. She tells us, "Two key looks are set to be trending this summer and the first is a sun-kissed bronze glow. To create this, I recommend applying a smoky bronze shade on your eyelids like the Voyageur Eyeshadow Palette in Suede from Nars. Next, add Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze, an ultra-fine brush-on powder, to your cheeks. Gently build the colour for a radiant look and don't forget to dab some on the end of your nose and your forehead. Finally, enhance your natural lip line with Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk by Charlotte Tilbury and fill in the colour with the new Hyaluronic Happikiss lipstick, also in the classic Pillow Talk shade."... read more
