New fizz on the block - from Wiltshire restaurant
Like the original botanical liquor, Sprigster Fizz has been crafted from ingredients that can be found in abundance in the classic English garden at Pythouse Kitchen Garden. The base of the drink is made from a slow-cooked grain vinegar mash of English hops, rhubarb, ginger and fennel seeds, that is gently infused for several weeks, allowing the botanicals to marry together.
To create the fizz, a gooseberry reduction and local spring water is added before carbonation, resulting in a complex, delightfully dry and refreshing celebratory drink. The recommended serve for Sprigster Fizz is ice cold in a flute or coupe glass.
Alternatively, this versatile drink can be used as a mixer with alcoholic spirits, or used to top cocktails such a French 75, adding a unique depth of flavour.
Sprigster Fizz will be available to buy directly from Sprigster's website for £14.50 per bottle (RRP £15).
