Christmas is around the corner, so get into the festive spirit with these gin and whisky cocktails from Cotswolds Distillery. As well as forming the base for delicious Christmas cocktails, the beautifully designed Cotswolds Gin and Whisky bottles make wonderful gifts and are conveniently all available to purchase from Cotswolds Distillery. To make a Cotswolds single malt whisky Wintertime Love cocktail, dissolve 60ml of the whisky and 10ml of maple syrup in a cocktail jar or glass. Add ice and stir continuously for dilution. Add the bitters, and more ice and stir a few more times. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass and express orange peel around the glass. Garnish with the orange peel.

This year marks Paxton & Whitfield's 225th birthday and to celebrate, the UK's oldest cheesemonger with a store in Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire launches 'Cullum' – an exclusive, brand new British hard ewes' milk cheese. This cheese has been developed together with one of Paxton & Whitfield's long-standing partners, the award-winning cheesemaker Martin Gott of St James Cheese, Cumbria. James Rutter, managing director of Paxton & Whitfield, says: "We are delighted to work with Martin and his team at Holker Farm on this exciting and exclusive new British ewes' milk cheese. We named the cheese 'Cullum' after Stephen Cullum, who was the original founder of the market stall back in 1742 which started the roots of our business."

Marcus is internationally renowned for his barbecue expertise and he runs the UK BBQ School near his home in Cullompton, Devon.
