Expert tips for elevating your drinks offering

From cocktail stations to party favours, David Cooper from glassware company Forever Crystal shares his top tips on how to get creative with your drinks on the big day. Here are four inspiration ideas for your wedding drinks and toast with something special when you say, 'I do'! Signature cocktails: While you might want to give your guests an open bar, hiring bar staff and footing the bill can end up being an expensive gesture. One way to sidestep this added cost while still providing some free refreshment is to make your own batch of signature cocktails. Choose two mixed drinks or cocktails that you know your guests love and stock up on plenty of ingredients before the big day. For a spring or summer wedding, mixed drinks like Pimm's and lemonade or gin and elderflower tonic are great options, especially as you can provide bowls of fruit and mint leaves to use as a garnish.

Give your Mother Figure Cotswolds Wildflower Gin this Mother’s Day

As an alternative to flowers this Mother's Day (or chocolate this Easter), if the Mother Figure in your life is a gin lover then why not give her the gift of gin from The Cotswolds Distillery? The distillery has launched three Cotswolds Wildflower Gin expressions all with a different flavour and taste profile. If you can't decide which gin to purchase then the Cotswolds Wildflower Gin Gift pack might be the answer. The Cotswolds Wildflower Gin collection is inspired by the wildflowers growing in the glorious grasslands of the Cotswolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cotswolds Wildflower Gins have been created by marrying premium botanical essences with the gin distilling and blending skills of the Cotswolds Distillery team. Cotswolds Wildflower Gins are fragrant, full-strength gins bursting with natural flavour and delicate floral aromas of summer meadows.

Enjoy Ginuary 2022 with Cotswolds Dry Gin

Gin is adored and devoured by the nation, and a popular choice for weddings so this January, why not make it 'Ginuary' instead of Dry January and explore the interesting varieties from the Cotswolds Distillery. Experiment with creative ways to try them, from gin-based cocktails to measures simply served with a quality tonic. The Cotswolds Dry Gin is a delightful blend of nine carefully considered botanicals, including local lavender from the Cotswolds and freshly peeled pink grapefruit and lime zest. Due to the unusually high volume of botanicals used, this gin causes a pearlescent cloud to appear when ice or tonic is added, creating the beautiful and unique Cotswolds Cloudy G&T.
