The new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill has recently opened in Salisbury at The Stones Hotel. This new culinary destination is set to become one of the city's most exciting dining experiences. Set against the backdrop of Marco Pierre White's signature monochromatic styling, the restaurant's surroundings are matched by the menus which are all devised by the chef.
Bringing to life Marco's philosophy of what he describes as 'affordable glamour,' this exciting and bright dining experience offers signature steaks alongside timeless English and French classics. The core values of the Steakhouse revolve around dishes that are simply cooked and served in an aspiring yet glamorous environment. Steak is at the heart of the menu, but the menu caters for all tastes and budgets.
Michael Barnes, hotel general manager said, "It's great news and there's been a lot of interest and excitement. The team has been part of a rigorous training programme so that they'll be up to speed on the exacting standards required by someone of Marco's calibre." He continues, "The opening of the restaurant is also a great testament to the owners who, during the current pandemic, have had the courage and tenacity to crack on and get this fantastic new venue up and running, bringing with it new jobs for local people."
Heading the kitchen team is newly appointed head chef, Phil Bayliss, who worked for Pierre White at his celebrated Rudloe Arms in Corsham. Michael added, "Marco Pierre White is such an iconic British chef, his unique approach to traditional dishes is simply superb! We know that our guests will want to come back, again and again, to enjoy everything on the menu. Those wanting to reserve a table can now do so by calling call 01722 782 020 or book via the restaurant website."
