What’s your favourite thing about late summer? For me, it’s living by the seaside and the simple pleasures that this lifestyle brings. The smell of the salty sea air as I sit on my terrace, the incredible sunsets during the lovely long evenings, the al fresco dinners with friends, and the freedom to wear floaty dresses and flip flops. So I was in my element compiling this issue, from the mouth-watering big-day catering ideas (page 57) and sun-drenched shores of the honeymoon destinations (page 93) to the extended fashion section starting on page 63. Here you’ll find sassy short bridal dresses, ice cream shades for your best girls, and hot honeymoon buys.

This Cotswold wedding venue is perfectly located to explore everything that the South West has to offer.
It’s home to a Victorian chapel, located in the grounds, ideal for couples wanting a religious ceremony. It seats up to 120 guests and the hire fee includes the services of the RAU chaplain and organist.
Ceremonies take place in a choice of historic reception rooms. The Kenneth Russell room situated on the first floor of the main building boasts magnificent views and seats up to 120 guests. The Bathurst Suite consist of two adjoining rooms, the Bathurst Dining Room seating up to 60 loved ones theatre-style, and the Bathurst Lounge, part of the original farmhouse, accommodating up to 40 guests. Receptions take place in the elegant Boutflour Hall for up to 130 people, and there’s also the option of hiring a marquee.
