Cricklade & Spa
This exquisite country house was built at the turn of the last century. It has been tastefully restored and carefully extended, marrying period features with modern touches. There are 45 stylish and comfortable bedrooms, a newly refurbished luxury spa with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room plus treatment rooms, a gym and a beauty room perfect for wedding day preparations.
The hotel is located at the bottom of a private field. The grounds are home to a tennis court, an all-weather pétanque pitch and a large outside seating area with an elevated position for guests to enjoy beautiful views of the Wiltshire Downs. There are stone steps leading down to the grounds providing a big-day photo opportunity.
The hotel is set within 33 acres of lush countryside which is in an advanced programme of planting and landscaping 40,000 bulbs to enhance the picturesque location of the hotel. This outdoor space can be used for lawn games and activities to entertain guests.
Ceremonies can be enjoyed outside in the Stone Folly or indoors in the grand ballroom suite that’s easy to style with different decorations. It has its own private bar and reception area with a maximum seated capacity of up to 120 people. The library is home to a stunning fireplace and is perfect for an intimate wedding celebration of up to 35 people seated.

| De Vere donates extra day this leap year to communities |
| |
Hotel chain De Vere, with properties in Gloucestershire and Berkshire, volunteered over 450 hours, equivalent to 56 days' worth of their colleagues' time, on Thursday 29th February to give back the extra leap year day to local charities and community projects. As part of the group's wider ESG efforts, De Vere has committed to donating over 2,000 hours of volunteering in 2024 to continue to develop valued relationships within the local community. Over 100 colleagues across De Vere's properties, as well as its central support team, volunteered at local charity partners including Cotswold Lake Trust, Berkshire Animal Connection Centre and Windsor Food Share. Many also engaged with local community projects such as litter picking, gardening and maintenance within local care homes.
