Cotswolds Distillery launches Cotswolds Dry Gin Essence in time for Xmas

Cotswolds Distillery launches Cotswolds Dry Gin Essence in time for Xmas

The Cotswolds Distillery is delighted to launch the latest addition to its gin portfolio - Cotswolds Dry Gin Essence available online and at their three shops dotted around the Cotswolds. The essence is a full-strength gin (ABV 46%) designed to reduce the amount of alcohol required in a G&T and in gin-based cocktails, whilst at the same time retaining intensity of flavour. Cotswold Dry Gin Essence is made using ten times the botanical concentration of their award-winning Cotswolds Dry Gin. This results in a huge amount of flavour per unit of alcohol. Cotswolds Gin Essence is so rich in botanical character that just 5ml is needed for a full flavour G&T, which has 1/10th of the alcohol of the usual Cotswolds signature serve. Cotswolds Dry Gin Essence comes in a 100ml bottle with a pipette and provides 20 serves. Five full pipette drops of gin amount to 5ml (a teaspoon) which is the recommended amount for one Gin Essence serve. Cotswolds Dry Gin Essence contains 14 calories per 5ml serve and just 0.23 units of alcohol. As with Cotswolds Dry Gin, the gin essence is non-chill filtered so the oils from the botanicals are retained, which causes a pearlescent cloud to appear when ice or tonic is added, creating the unique Cotswolds Cloudy G&T.... read more
