I have worked very hard to make my studio an oasis of calm for my clients to enjoy and my customers have been at the centre of every decision I have made in the creation of the studio. Cotswolds-based Juliet Draper offers winter hair and skincare tips

Juliet Draper is a hair and make-up artist covering weddings in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and throughout the Cotswolds. We chat with her about preparing your skin and hair for a late-winter wedding. She tells us, "During the winter, because of the cold air outside and central heating indoors, our hair and skin can start to feel dehydrated and lacking in moisture. When it comes to your hair, keep the water at a reasonable temperature when you're showering because if it's too hot, it can remove the moisture from your scalp resulting in flaky skin. Treat your locks to a conditioning treatment once or twice a week will lock in the moisture so that your hair looks healthy and glossy. By incorporating a gentle head massage at the same it, it will help to stimulate the hair follicles and blood flow to your scalp.

South West-based make-up artist Heather Card talks brows

Heather Card is a fully insured, professional make-up artist specialising in airbrush make-up covering weddings across the South West. We catch up with her to hear her tips about achieving the perfect brow. She tells us, "I tend to recommend natural, refined and defined brows for my brides. They always need attention as part of the make-up application because some are naturally desirable and may only require a tidy up and a bit of powder to define them while others may be sparse, narrow or too thin. There are many good-quality brow products on the market. I like to use Brow Blade in taupe by Urban Decay which is a pencil and ink that are both waterproof. I also like to work with Brow Zings by Benefit which is a gel and powder. I recommend using a brow powder because it's easy to apply and you're less likely to make a mistake.

Hair and make-up artist Sophie Casey talks bridal hair trends

Sophie Casey is a professional make-up artist and hair stylist specialising in weddings. Her career has seen her work in fashion, film and television including on Downton Abbey. We caught up with her to ask what's trending in the world of bridal hair. She tells us, "I'm seeing a shift from boho-chic ooks to simpler yet textured styles. The tousled ponytail is trending at the moment and is simple to create with the volume on top and a soft curl or wave throughout. It looks great pinned into a low, seamless ponytail with loosely curled strands left at the front to frame the face. This style looks effortless finished with a wire hair accessory worn at the side and a veil can also be added."

Hair and make-up artist Sarah White reveals trends for summer weddings

Sarah has more than 17 years' experience working in weddings, tv, film and fashion. Some of her most memorable jobs include working on the set of Pride & Prejudice and Casanova. She tells us, "Many beauty industry experts predict that 2021 will focus on lightweight foundations after months of being relatively make-up free during the lockdown period and having to wear face coverings. It will have inspired many brides-to-be to adopt a more natural look without the desire or need for heavy foundation coverage."
