New wedding venue Pauntley Court located in Redmarley D'Abitot in Gloucestershire now provides luxury accommodation for up to 24 guests.
This privately owned historic house located on a rural estate in the Gloucestershire countryside – incidentally, the birthplace of Dick Whittington – recently launched as a wedding venue. It boasts formal gardens with far-reaching views across to the River Leadon Valley and beyond, and there's a picturesque Norman Church, St John the Evangelist, in the grounds. Ceremonies are held there at the moment, with couples from outside of the parish of Pauntley allowed to marry there by visiting once a month for six months leading up to the wedding.
The venue is in the process of applying for a wedding licence for ceremonies to be held in the Ball Room for up to 40 guests, and both this room and the gardens and woodlands can be locations for humanist ceremonies and blessings, with a special spot being down by the lake. A marquee reception can be held at the venue for up to 150 guests.
