Lords of the Manor Hotel in Upper Slaughter has been named The Good Hotel Guide Editor's Choice for Dog-Friendly Hotel 2019, and it allows guests to bring their pets for free when booking The Lordly Dog package.

This quaint hotel, tucked away in a private and quiet location within eight acres of gardens, is ideal for couples wanting exclusivity. With its 26 bedrooms, it can become a private country house.

Civil ceremonies and partnerships take place in a choice of three rooms. Up to 35 guests can be hosted in the Garden Room, which overlooks the walled gardens at the rear of the property. The Conservatory holds up to 40 loved ones, while larger parties of between 40 and 100 guests can gather in The Restaurant. There's also the local Church of St Peter, located close by in the village square.

The dining capacity within the hotel is up to 80 for the wedding breakfast, but outside there's space for a marquee in the grounds to seat up to 150 loved ones. For smaller parties, there's the option of an intimate lunch or afternoon tea reception.
