Vanilla Pod Bakery in Gloucestershire launches Mother's Day cake collection

The Vanilla Pod Bakery located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, has launched a new Limited Edition Sunflower Mother's Day cake collection. The new collection is a direct result of owner, Pia Cato, having to pivot and explore other opportunities since the pandemic started.

The award-winning bakery usually creates wedding cakes for couples holding their celebrations in and around the Cotswolds. But since the pandemic, the business has had to look at other areas in which it can create mouth-watering bakes in order to survive. Pia tells us,"Covid-19 has really caused me to rethink my business and look at ways we can survive while weddings are essentially on hold. During a team meeting we came up with the idea for Limited Edition Cake Collections which got us really excited. We initially tried it for Valentine's Day and I was so surprised with the positive response."

She continues, "For Mother's Day, we wanted to make something cheerful, so decided on a gorgeous sunflower theme, as we all need a bit of brightness in our life right now."

The Limited Edition Sunflower Mother's Day Cake Collection is now available from http://www.vanillapodbakery.com The product range includes cupcake boxes of 12 (from £48), cupcake boxes of 6 (from £24), cupcake boxes of 4 (from £16), cupcake bouquets (from £40), a sunflower-themed celebration cake (from £135), a medium-sized box of vanilla iced biscuits (from £28) and a small box of vanilla iced biscuits (from £18). The cakes are available for local Cheltenham delivery or contactless collection from Vanilla Pod Bakery studio. The biscuits are available for nationwide delivery and the cupcakes are made fresh on the morning of collection/delivery.

The Vanilla Pod Bakery also creates postal Tasting Boxes which are perfect for afternoon teas or to sample a selection of wedding cake flavours. As well as extra-special bespoke celebration and wedding cakes, they'll also be creating a limited edition line for Easter.
