The four-star Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel in Upton St Leonards has reopened unveiling a new VIPod dining experience to welcome back guests.
The first of the new VIPods, situated close to the lake in the picturesque gardens, will offer breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals for couples, or groups of up to eight people. Guests can also feel safe in the knowledge that every VIPod will undergo a 30 minute deep clean between each booking. The hotel and restaurant have remained closed during the Covid crisis, but now, as Government guidelines begin to relax, the management and staff are looking forward to re-opening the business after keeping busy in lockdown planning a safe and enjoyable way for guests to return.
Gavin Jones, General Manager for the Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel said, "We have desperately been trying to think of a safe way to provide for our customers again and I think we've got it. The challenge was to keep the fantastic dining experience, whilst at the same time ensure everyone feels safe; and has the peace of mind that government guidelines are being fully complied with."
