We talk to Lucy Menghini of Six Stories bridal brand about big-day flowergirl trends

Lucy Menghini is the owner of Six Stories, an independent bridal brand with a studio based in Wiltshire offering brides stylish fashion and accessories. We caught up with her to chat tutu-cute outfits for flower girls.

I would like my adult bridesmaids to wear something fashionable and a bit different and quirky, what can you suggest?

Why not consider a jumpsuit for bridesmaids? They look great and can be worn again after the wedding so that they get more wear out of them. They're a great contrast against your wedding dress and the fashionable look makes for stylish wedding pictures.

Another idea is to add a floor-length tulle cape for the ceremony that can be removed for the evening party. This is currently a popular trend that allows bridesmaids to enjoy two different looks throughout the day.

What about my flowergirls?

For flowergirls, there's nothing cuter than a tutu! Our handmade, floor-length tutus are available in a variety of colours including pastel pink and champagne tones, and they look great teamed with Converse trainers or Dr Martens for an edgy look. If you have three or more flowergirls, put together a complementary palette of colours. The different coloured skirts will look great styled together, especially in photographs and on the dance floor!
