Elmore Court in Gloucestershire announces renovation of walled garden

Elmore Court in Gloucestershire announces renovation of walled garden: Image 1 Elmore Court, the exclusive-use wedding venue in Gloucestershire, has announced the renovation of its walled garden with a new greenhouse set to be installed in June, and four additional lawns being created with three large beds for producing vegetables and flowers. The produce will be used in the variety of dishes served in the kitchen, and the grounds will also feature wider paths leading down to the Gillyflower where wedding receptions take place, to help with social distancing. These are alongside other upgrades such as new and improved lighting, star jasmine climbing the walls, Italian Cyprus trees lining the path to the venue and beautiful wisteria in bloom. The front gates that are 300 years old have been sanded and refreshed, with other projects in the pipeline.

This historic mansion house and gardens is an award-winning venue set in 1000 acres of countryside boasting stunning views of the River Severn.

Ceremonies take place in The Hall located in the main house for up to 120 guests seated, or in the nearby 13th-century Elmore Church (situated just one mile away).

The wedding breakfast and evening reception is held in the Gillyflower, an elegant, self-contained building situated in the grounds. The house has 16 bedrooms to accommodate wedding guests, plus a new Coach House with three bedrooms that can sleep up to six guests.
