Jamie Goddard, band leader of The Zoots who cover weddings in both regions, unveils his wedding entertaining ideas for couples looking to marry later in the year and throughout 2021.

The Zoots have been performing at weddings since 2009 and have played at more than 250 celebrations so it's not hard to see why they have won many awards including International Cover Band of the Year 2018 and UK Wedding Band of the Year.

Jamie tells us about popular requests for first dances. “Most couples have wanted a song by Ed Sheeran,” he tells us, “but a new trend emerging is the festival-style wedding held in a marquee with a more relaxed approach where couples are choosing not to have a first dance on their own, but instead enjoy a group dance with the entire wedding party!”

Jamie advises engaged couples to take note when attending weddings what they like and what they would do differently. “Ask your friends, family or even followers on social media for ideas and then decide for yourself what would best suit your special day.”
