Magical Winter Weddings at Barnsley House in Cirencester, Gloucestershire

With the winter months being some of the most romantic at Barnsley House in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, the hotel has unveiled its Winter Wedding Package including exclusive hire of the property for a mid-week wedding from January to March 2020.

Set in a picture-perfect village and surrounded by the idyllic Cotswold countryside, this luxury wedding venue boasts fairytale gardens, cosy log fires and luxurious suites with roll-top baths. The classic English country gardens at Barnsley House are enchanting, and look festive when frost-capped during winter. Most of the fresh produce on the menu comes from the hotel's very own kitchen garden and can feature on the wedding menu.

The hotel can host up to 100 guests for the ceremony and up to 70 for the wedding breakfast in The Potager Restaurant overlooking the manicured gardens. Up to 120 loved ones can gather in a marquee in the meadow in the grounds for the evening reception and the hotel can accommodate wedding guests in its 18 bedrooms and suites. The Secret Garden Suite is one of the most romantic in the Cotswolds, featuring an outdoor hot tub.

The cosy Village Pub situated across the road is the ideal setting for a family lunch, and up to 30 guests can enjoy the hotel's private cinema, garden spa complete with an outdoor hydrotherapy pool and five treatment rooms.

The Winter Wedding Package is priced under £15,000 based on 40 guests or under £20,000 based on 70 guests and includes exclusive hire of the hotel rooms and suites, a three-course wedding breakfast with wine, house champagne, tea, coffee and petits fours, plus evening snacks.
