Luxury Family Hotels launch Waggy Tails Tea Time and A La Bark menu
Luxury Family Hotels are pleased to announce the launch of their new Waggy Tails...
Toastmaster Ian Pugh unveils his top tips for a stress-free wedding and reveals how to choose a good toastmaster and lists questions that couples should ask them.
He says: "With so much to organise in the lead up to the big day, the role of a traditional toastmaster will come in super handy. They will liaise with suppliers and venue staff and greet guests as they arrive. They will announce dinner, introduce the newly-married couple into the wedding breakfast and reveal the different speakers at the correct moment of the day. They will also gather everyone together for the cutting of the cake, the first dance and throwing the bouquet."
Ian describes how weddings large and small can benefit from the services of a toastmaster. He says: "many smaller weddings require as much attention to detail as larger ones so a professional toastmaster will have the experience and sensitivity to provide just the right level of care without appearing intrusive."
Ian stresses the importance of research before a toastmaster is booked. "Feel free to ask them as many questions as you want ahead of the wedding. Most will arrange meetings in person and a final checklist should be discussed about four weeks prior to the big day," he says.
Finally, he explains how an experienced toastmaster will check the cleanliness of facilities at the venue, ensure that cloakrooms are manned, make sure that disabled ramps are available (if needed), triple check that tables have been laid correctly with all place names in the correct order and finally, roll out the red carpet if requested!
