Claire Bircher, owner of LJ Bridal Collection located in Upton St. Leonards, Gloucester reveals what brides will be wearing in 2020.
An independent, family-run shop selling new and sample high-end bridal dresses off-the-peg with no ordering required, owner Claire is expecing blush vintage-inspired styles, fit-and-flare silhouettes with illusion side panels, V-shaped backs and jewelled detailing to remain popular.
She also predictsdresses with an illusion back decorated with beaded lace detail will be trending. "Stunning lace trains that are small puddle trains or longer, more dramatic designs are also being purchased regularly, and the recent royal weddings have led to an increase in demand for clean lines, flawless fabrics and simple yet stylish gowns," she says.
She also tells how some brides will continue to choose to add a little detail through accessories such as a belt or a veil.
We are seeing lots of brides-to-be planning ahead and buying now for their wedding taking place in 2020 and 2021. This is a great idea so that you know you have it, and you can always make the alterations much closer to the time.
