A rustic romance at Melksham Court

Crystal and Alex's rustic-themed day was held at the magnificent Melksham Court.

Crystal Dugalo, 32, married Alex Jones, 34, at Melksham Court on 8th September, 2018.

A rustic romance at Melksham Court: Image 1 We wanted a comfortable and relaxed feel to our day in one single location where all of our loved ones could stay for a week. We also wanted to arrange our own catering, so Melksham Court was the ideal choice for us. It had a barn and magnificent lawns, which held a reception tent.

Our buttonholes and bouquets were hand-made by Alex's aunt. The left overs were placed on tables and window ledges and in jars dotted around the venue.

Our centrepieces were lanterns scattered around with candles and flowers.

Jo at Aqua Florist decorated the barn and mantelpiece that looked stunning.

I wore Alexandra from Grace Loves Lace. It was elegant and simple, which suited the English countryside. I teamed it with some jeweled shoes.

A rustic romance at Melksham Court: Image 9 We had a quartet play throughout the ceremony.
