October/November 2021

I’ve compiled an action-packed issue for you and it promises to be a great read! I love planning a magazine for this time of year, with seasonal colours providing inspiration. The real wedding of Chloe and Conor caught my eye because of its beautiful barn venue which is an ideal choice for a cosy wedding as the evenings draw in and the temperature drops – turn to page 30 to read all about it. If you’d like to see your special day gracing the pages of Your Glos & Wilts Wedding then please do email me at claire.ridley@countyweddingmagazines.com

In this issue, there’s fabulous fashion (which is one of my favourite parts of the job, browsing all of the wonderful bridal dresses that land in my inbox), big-day beauty ideas and honeymoon inspiration (now that we’re allowed to travel again, yay!)

As we approach Christmas and New Year, which will be the inspiration behind the next issue, sit back and enjoy the wedding planning journey with me.

Until the next issue,

Claire x

Queens Hotel Cheltenham

This hotel originally opened in 1838 commanding a prime position on what is now one of Cheltenham’s most charming Georgian streets. It’s suitably placed for guests to explore the cultural delights that the city has to offer along with its variety of parks including Sandford Park, Pittville Park and Imperial Gardens located just a short walk away. Having previously welcomed the world’s greatest writers and thinkers, the Cheltenham Literature Festival is making this spa town the place to be this autumn.

Celebrate one year of opening at the hotel’s restaurant Victoria’s that served its first guests last autumn. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding countryside and farmland, the restaurant works closely with local producers and farmers to create much-loved classic dishes with a contemporary twist.

Weddings take place in the Regency Suite for up to 120 loved ones with its floor-to-ceiling arched windows and golden chandeliers. The hotel’s latest offering is perfect for newlyweds with the Escape and Stay package available to book from the 1st October 2021 from £143 inclusive of breakfast, accommodation, afternoon tea, tickets for an activity for two and car parking (subject to availability).
