I love dressing up, especially for a night out with friends or a glamorous work event. It’s a great confidence boost when I am wearing some of my favourite clothes and have taken the time to team them with heels and accessories. So it was a fun task compiling the dress up – where to shop for your bridal party feature for this issue (page 61).
On the subject of fashion, shoes are my weakness, so I’ve been swooning over our product-packed fashion section this issue, starting on page 66.
There’s also fashion for the man in your life on page 85, plus all the regulars, from Insta-worthy honeymoons (the Maldives, anyone?) to stunning venues and romantic real-life love stories.
For those of you still in the planning stages, I’ll see you next issue with our glittering Christmas special. | |

Lapstone Barn is an exclusive-use, 18th-century Cotswold stone barn perfectly placed for weddings. Its south-facing lawns and manicured grounds feature extensive views of the surrounding countryside and the North Cotswolds, and offer the ideal spot for garden games during summer nuptials, or mulled wine and canapés during more autumnal celebrations. The English courtyard garden, with its fountain, clipped hedges and pretty rose and lavender flowerbeds, provides a beautiful big-day backdrop for those all-important photographs.
Ceremonies take place in the Stone Barn, which has timber beams and oak floors, for up to 200 guests. Alternatively, an outdoor ceremony, also for up to 200 loved ones, can be held in the courtyard garden. There’s also a church less than two miles away for couples wanting a traditional ceremony.
Northwick Barn plays host to up to 200 guests for the wedding breakfast and reception. Long or round tables can be set up, and it’s a blank canvas for couples to style as they wish. There’s also the Tanner’s Bar, featuring a log burner, and The Snug, a cosy space for guests to chill out in.
